Automating Workflows with Maintenance System (FAMS)

Managing preventive and breakdown maintenance manually often leads to missed deadlines and increased machine downtime. A modern system (FAMS) application automates the entire maintenance lifecycle to keep factory operations running smoothly.
With a FAMS application, maintenance schedules are generated automatically based on predefined due dates. This ensures no critical asset is left unchecked. Once a schedule is generated, the details are immediately sent via email to the Maintenance Head.
Communication continues seamlessly down to the execution level. If a specific task is assigned to a Supervisor or a Fitter, they also receive automated email notifications with their work assignments, ensuring everyone is aligned.
The application allows teams to monitor schedule progress in real time. Technicians can easily record all materials consumed during the task, along with keeping an accurate log of manpower hours spent on the job.
When the work is completely executed, the system automatically closes the work order and subsequently the next due date is updated. This end-to-end automation reduces administrative burden and improves asset reliability.
